Introduction

Mother Josephine Vannini Senior Citizens Retirement Home, is run by the Society of Daughters of St. Camillus ( Charitable Trust of the Daughters of St. Camillus ) who follow the example and rules of St. Camilllus, who cared for the sick people as a loving mother caring her only son who is seriously ill. Our particular mission in the Church is to give witness to the merciful love of Christ towards sick and the poor through a special vow which involves even at the risk of our lives.  The Red Cross worn on our religious habits is the symbol of the love, sacrifice and hope to be found in nursing the sick, without discrimination of caste or religion.

The Congregation of the Daughters of St. Camillus was founded by Saint  Josephine Vannini and Blessed Father Luigi Tezza on 2nd February 1892 in Rome. Our field of works is Hospitals, Dispensaries, Home for the Aged, Rehabilitation of the Mentally Retarded Children, caring for the terminal patients, HIV/AIDS patients and the care of Lepers.
